I just realized that I haven't done a post on our living situation the last couple of months! I guess now, as we prepare to leave our little blue house, is as good a time as any. :)
We had the PRIVILEGE of staying with the Reyes' family while in Brookes Point. They live in a cute little blue house, that happens to be right next door to where Sam and I lived last year. For memories sake, we took pictures of our home away from home:
We've shown you our room before. It was such a cozy little place. We loved it! |
From there, we would head down the stairs to the lower level of the house. |
At the bottom of the stairs was the kitchen. Small and simple, but having EVERYTHING you could need. |
To the right of the kitchen was the "dining room" |
Looking at the kitchen from the "dining room". Most days their wasn't a Ukrainian women in the kitchen. Today was just a SPECIAL day. :) |
Then turning to your right you would head out the back door where to your left was the "Laundry room"... |
...And to your right was the bathroom. |
Back in the house from the back door, you have a view of the Living Room. |
And the "Master Bedroom". The entire Reyes' family slept in this room. |

As you can tell, its a small house. But during our stay, it wasn't the size of the house that mattered, it was the warmth and kindness we felt while we were inside. We could not have asked for a better place to stay!
"For thou hast been a shelter for me..."

So very amazing Allison. I feel guilty wanting you to come back home. God had used you and Leanne so wonderfully.
